2008/5/9· I agree. . but also the radiator takes in hot water at the top, cools it (therefore through the rules of physics it goes to the bottom of the radiator) and out the bottom hose alot cooler, so the bottom hose would be cooler than the top hose (i would of thought anyways) OP. OP.

I''m not sure where you are at but down in the south on a hott day my car will run 10-20 degrees and sometimes 30 degress hottier then normal which is 180-190, esp if the hot side air is above 100 degrees. If it starts to head for the red part of the gauge then you have a problem.

2011/1/4· Ive also seen rust plug the nipple on some water pumps where the heater hose connects. Check your thermostat it may be bad and staying open not building heat, or the plennum chaer heat door not functioning. i dont know what year your car is but if there is a hot water valve in line with the heater hoses, it may not be opening. good luck.
